Greetings:
I was wondering if there was an ORCA/BASIC or other COMPILED BASIC for the Apple IIGS?
Having talked with a few folks on how to get into BASIC on the IIGS, I realize how to drop into BASIC (I was familiar with a IIe and Now use a Mac and of course see GS/OS as an early version of MacOS). But I really was looking for a IDE from the GS/OS to write BASIC code in and then compile like C or whatnot.
Thanks to Mr. Schmidt for supplying most of the ORCA languages if not all, I am not sure if ORCA/BASIC exists, but I thought a guy in our local User Group (Yes there is an active A2 user group here in Kansas City, MO) indicated in the first place that I should get the ORCA languages and I like what I see so far.
Anyone please advise on the question of a "compiled BASIC" for A2 GS.
Thanks,
Mike
