I found a pretty good article that recommends the Macintosh LC III for playing vintage Apple II games. The writer recommends that you put a II E motherboard into the expansion slot to properly emulate a Apple II machine.

I'm wondering if anyone can think of a better idea for buying a Macintosh which has a HD standard and is good for simply emulating Apple II games and maybe some "newer" ones.
