Outrageous as it seems, there was a hard drive designed for the Apple II that plugged into the smart port and could be daisy chained with other drives.

Or maybe it's possible to build an external hard drive using a 5.25 drive's case? One that plugged into the smart port. :D

Wanted:
* Apple II GS compatible 5.25 drive.
* 20 MB - 50 MB hard drive.

Hi,
The Chinook HD that worked on a IIc are rare. I traded one for a Ramfast card, witch I feel is more useful and as vauable. Also those HDs did not have any kind of fans in them. There was one other HD that would work in those cases.
One the Apple II 5.25 drive $5.00 or less if you want one that is yellowed a bit.
Since I know you will give you a good deal on a Qdrive. Will send you an Email latter today.
