I have an early PET computer and an Aim65 kit, both still in original boxes with all manuals that came with them. I have quite a bit of SW and a few HW add ons. Also some 6502 books and newsletters from the late 70's early 80's. I don't have an inventory, but strong interest could motivate me to generate one. I live in northern California (~150 mi N of SF) and will need to at least have shipping paid for.

I also have a TRS 100 with a variety of SW and all the original manuals. I also have most of the issues of TRS 100 magazine.

All this stuff has been in boxes for MANY years. It all worked when packed away. I can't bring myself to throw it away and I know I will never use it, sooo looking for a good home...

My fellow computer freaks will kill me but those Aim65 guys have been bringing in big bucks on ebay. Some Pets do well too. The M100 varies wildly, from $20 to $200 (the 200 was a bidding war).

You sitting down???

Last Aim 65 on ebay = $281.50 + shipping.

I agree with Chuck, sell the stuff, it's worth a young fortune. (I'd be interested in some of the Model 100 stuff, especially the magazines).

Chuck,

You are, obviously, like, it seems, all of regulars here, a man of integrity. You too, T.

It would be easy for people on here to screw a newbie out of some valuable hard/software because, most of the time, people haven't a clue what the equipment they have MAY be worth.

I think that's one of the things I like the best about this forum, and why I stick around and try to contribute something worthwhile from time to time.

People here help other people, not themselves to other people's unknown value equipment.

Erik, congratulations on running a fine forum, something I should have said long before now.

Have you gotten rid of the PET as of yet? If not let me in on what price you are looking to sell it off for. I am looking to complete my commodore collection off. Just a few oddball ones, and a few PET models.

Later!

I live down in Santa Rosa and have a covered truck and get up to Redding every few months to see the in-laws. If I can be of any help with transport, let me know. I can store things for a few weeks if needed and deliver locally or meet up in the Bay Area or maybe Sacramento (any excuse for a day trip is a good excuse). And if Terry or someone else doesn't end up with the Model 100, or if Schotty doesn't end up with the PET, or you decide not to sell them on eBay for whatever reason, I'd be thrilled to give them a good home as a second or third choice. Wonderful find as it may be, I think the Aim-65 may be a bit out of my price range.
