I just "acquired" a nice Z88 from eBay. The funny thing was, I read a post in OSNews.com about a new version of the operating system for the Z88, and became interested in them. I had never seen one before, and find them to be quite nice. Very well built (well, the keyboard does leave a bit to be desired), and still quite operational after over 20 years.
My question to the forum is: I got this unit without any documentation. Does anyone know of any on-line documentation for this unit? or perhaps have some paper copies or on-dis[c|k]?

Have you tried here? http://www.rwapsoftware.co.uk/z88.html
Or here? http://www.rakewell.com/main/index.shtml
Lots of kewl stuff here: http://www.algonet.se/~dennisgr/z88.htm
Actually, just checking out all the links on the above pages should keep you busy for a few days. There's a wealth of info available on the Net, including very good documentation of the hardware and of the software. Somewhere, you'll even find the code to burn a new EPROM with the latest OS.

Thanks Terry, I appreciate the links. I already had the bottom two, but the top link is new.

Hey, Terry, you still want the (2) Z88's I have, right?
Seems I've blocked access to them with all this stuff I put in the garage!!
I'll try to get to them as soon as I can.

Yeah! I'll have a better idea by end-of-week about what I have available for swappage (finally cleaning out the mini-storage).

What I have is:
(1) Working Z88
(1) Parts Z88 (works, but contrast knob is messed up, and I lost the screws!)
(2) 128K RAM cartridges
(1) PCLink Cartridge
(1)32K EPROM Cartridge
Unfortunately, I have bad luck and NEITHER of my Z88's came with a battery door!
Let me know what ya got - I'm looking for more Kaypro stuff, so if'n ya got any
Looking for:
4/84 motherboard (the one with RTC/Modem would be best, not required)
Of course, always WD1002-HD0 HD controller + interface card from a K10
Any RAMdisk add-ons (not necessarily a +88 or CoPower-8 like Advent's
Any other interesting add-ons, like Advent Personality Modules, etc..
