Hello all,
The 3COM Serial Device Server I bought from Ebay turned out to be a dead-end in my project to make an Amstrad NC100 webserver.
Further coding on a PC based software version of a Serial Device Server has however, finally lead to a modicum of success.
I now have the Amstrad responding to GET HTTP/1.1 requests and delivering pages back to a browser. Mostly testing with IE, but also got FIREFOX responses too.
As I'm currently running on batteries, I can't turn off the auto-off feature, and leave it connected for other people to try. I'll dig out the DC power supply tomorrow, and post the link here if anybody is interested.
