I have an Amiga 500 on its way but it doesn't have a mouse.
Anyone got one to spare in the UK?
Cheers.

Going to maplins today, so I'll have a go at this:

After an hour or so of tinkering I came up with this:

However the I can't burn the hex to the PIC, even if I assemble it myself. I get "Error at 0000" or similar every time I try. I don't know if this is the PIC or the code as I don't have a spare.
Sooo...Anyone got any spare mice? :)

Just for the time being, from what I recall you can move the mouse around using the arrow keys or number pad and I think the keypad 5 will act as a click. I can't find anything (quickly) supporting my claim so I could be incorrectly remembering a feature in Fellow or WinUAE or joystick keyboard commands.

Ah, that's a relief. I thought that the Amiga might be unusable without a mouse, having never used one before.
So if one doesn't turn up for a while, I won't be completely lost.

Barythrin is correct, but I'm unsure if it is a feature of KS 2.0+ or was present already in KS 1.2/1.3.
