I listed the following:

Zip Technology Zip GS accelerator ver 1.01
Sequential Sytems RAMFast SCSI Controller, Rev. D, Firmware 3.01f
Sequential Systems Second Sight Video Card (Rare as heck!!!)

These items are untested, as I have no GS, so bid accordingly. They may be lemons, or they may be gold. I traded for them last year, thinking I would put one together, but man, I have no time, no space, no patience, and no desire to do so, so i will pass them on...
Bidding on all 3 items starts at $0.99

Dang....I didn't realize a Sequential Systems Second Sight video card was so "valuable."

I can't recall ever getting this many hits on any of my auctions!

Seems like prices for many items have gone up quite a bit this year on ebay.

Exactly what is that video card used for? GS/OS on a VGA monitor at high res? Can you play games using it?

I know it'll basically replicate the standard video on a VGA monitor.
Beyond that, you'd have to program games to take advantage of the
higher res/color depth.

I remember about 12 years ago, having a GS decked out with:
Apple GS ROm3
4MB RAM card
Apple High Speed SCSI card
80MB SCSI drive, with like a 40MB HFS partition
SCSI CDROM drive
ZipGSX accelerator
SecondSight (didn't have it long) on a VGA monitor

It was a REALLY nifty system, when running GS/OS 6.
Pretty much MacOS-like, but on a GS.

Dang.
I'm truly speechless...

$521 for a Sequential Systems Second Sight?

I was expecting $300, maybe $350 max...$521?

Geeeeeeez....

Be happy you got a nice paycheck from it, and hope you don't end up wanting one down the road when the money is spent.

Did the zipgs go kind of cheap?

BTW the buy is in France, where the Dollar is pretty cheap these days.

Yeah, the ZipGS went a little cheap, but remember these are untested.
I honestly, truly do not have a GS to test them in.

The ZipGS was also a 1.01, and was missing the oscillator, for one.

As for the future, I kept one RAMFast SCSI controller for myself, don;t really see a need for the video card, and I think I would rather have a TransWarp any way, if I get one in the future.

I would not ind finding a ROM3 GS - anyone got one?
