I recently got in a Macintosh SE FDHD. It appears the PSU is in need of a replacement. When I power it on, it DOES make the macintosh sound, the fan powers up, as well as the HD. But the monitor doesn't, and the PSU lets out the unmistakable stench of something wrong inside. The guy who gave it to me says he knows for sure the mobo is good. The screen doesn't flicker or anything, even with the brightness at different levels. So it anyone has a PSU(and maybe a torx screwdriver to open the mac with) lemme know.

EDIT: Also, if all else fails, I've always wanted a Macquarium (http://www.jagshouse.com/macquarium.html)...

I have a complete and unused FDHD. It is missing the keyboard and mouse and doesn't seems to boot but it does give a good clear display with a mousepointer and a disk in the middle of the screen. Would you be interested in this ?

What does the disk have in the center of it, on the screen?
