So I have a Macintosh Classic II. Unfortunately, my modem software install file is for an older version of ClarisWorks than I have. So if anyone has any ClarisWorks below version 2.0v1, I would like to purchase. I am also interested in finding almost anything else for the wonderous Macintosh Classic II or below. I am particurally looking for Microsoft Works, excel, access, etc for Macintosh, as well as internet programs such as AOL for Macintosh. If you have any games(Such as Sid Meirs Civilization) I would be happy to take them off your hands, or even pay for them(gasp!). Also, if anyone has any System 7.5.5 disks, or even 7.5.0 disks, I would appreciate a copy. I could also provide the files to someone with a Macintosh with a floppy drive(1.44MB) and the disks if they could write them to it. Apple.com has the files, but without an Internet attached Mac, I can't get them on Macintosh-compatable floppies. I am also in the market for a PRAM battery compatable with a Macintosh Classic II, as well as the appropriat torx screw driver, but I can get ahold of those easily.
All software must be compatable with System 7.0.1, unless I can convince someone to write system 7.5.5 to a floppy for me.

I have some Mac disks here that I got all together with a machine that I subsequently donated to a school...

They are labeled as follows:

Before You Install
Install
Install 2
Printing
Fonts
Disk Tools
Install: PowerTalk and QuickDrawGX, Macintosh System 7.5
QuickDraw GX 1, Macintosh System 7.5
QuickDraw GX 2, Macintosh System 7.5

System 7.5 Update 2.0 (14 Disks)

Not to sound like Bob Barker, but all this could be yours, if the price is right!

Are you looking for originals or copies. I believe I have disk images of most system software on developer cds but no spare disks to send them to you. I am pretty sure I have an old claris works I can send a copy to you. Give me a PM, it will take a day or two to dig out the disks and work something out. Btw, You would need ramdoubler also, don't waste your time with VM with a 10meg limited Mac.

Keep in mind you have a b&w mac. I bought a Classic ][ when it came out thinking I would purchase the just announced SCSI video adapter, never saw one until radius went out of business years later. Anyways most games like civilization would have a 8bit limit, that was my only complaint with that computer.
