I've been into old computers for a while and I've been looking for a good comunity to talk about them in almost as long. Anyway, at the moment, my (physical hardware) interests are in smaller computers (old PDAs and graphing calculators) simply because those are all I really have room for, but given my lack of funds, I also have a huge emulation interest in all sort of systems...

Yes, having room can be an issue as I'm rapidly finding out. (:

Welcome aboard!
We've got a couple of other folks here who are into the handheld/portable subgenre.
Enjoy!

Welcome!
Tell me about it! I've got a half-dozen AT&T 6300's behind the couch in the family room! Not to mention monitors, keyboards, a couple of Tandy 1400 LT's, an old IBM notebook and boxes of software. My wife is a saint, she puts up with it, but even her patience is wearing thin. The problem I have is I live in Florida (USA), and if I put them in the garage, they will be worthless within one year. I'd love to have an air conditioned barn or something to store my old computers in.
And to madcrow, welcome to the forums! :-)

Hehe, I only have 3 AT&T 6300s, 1 of which needs a new mobo, the then another is in West Virginia, and when it gets down here, I have plenty of drives to stick in it. One good PC 6300 is to be left original, the other is to be modified to the end. If you're ever looking to dump a 6300, I'm your man. When I can't have one setup (and there is always room) I keep them under my bed. I keep some stuff that I don't care about in the garage year round, and stuff that I do somewhat care of in the garage only during the cold months. Stuff I positively love I keep inside no matter what.
