I have been collecting vintage computers for about 15 years mainly because they put out composite signal for my tv. Being able to kick back and play a good game is one of my hobbys.

My vintage pc with tv output collection include

TANDY 1000 TX
with 286 to 486 chip, a dying 20mb hardcard, iomega 90mb removable bournelli drive with 4 disks and isa interface card, parrallel card, zip 100 drive, parallel to scsi adapter for cd-rom, syquest 230mb hd,other harddrives. I ordered a scsi with boot rom 8 bit isa card as im typing this and have 500mb to 2bg drives. I have a an 8 bit vga card but it would not work due to the hardcard im assuming. Software installed ms dos 3.3 (uses less memory), win 3.0 (with tandy video driver), norton commander, deskmate,100+ 16 color games.

APPLE GS
with scsi and ext hardrives 40-80 mb,4mb ram card, and some sound card, with a jack to plug into a guitar amp if wanted. I have some GS games installed and i use the synthesiser onboard hooked up to my music keyboard via an apple midi box for some cool sounds. Also all the hardware and software i need to easily tranfer from ibm pc.

AMIGA 500
with scsi addon 500mb harddrive, 4mb ram card installed,tv adapter thing and many games. Also all the hardware and software i need to easily transfer games from ibm pc.

ATARI ST
with 1mb ram, external floppy also, no hard drive, tv adapter thing, many games. Also all the hardware and software i need to easily tranfer software/games from ibm pc.

COMMODORE 64/128
with cable to use one of my pentium laptops as my c64 game loading hardrive and game rom database.

ATARI XE game system/computer with adapter to use one of my pentium laptops as my game loading harddrive and game rom database.

my best IBM PC is

ASUS
PENTIUM 4 -northwood 3.4 ghz CPU
512mb ram
harddrives 300gig,250gig,250gig
dvd burner dual layer
ati 256mb x1300 video card with hdtv out

I did a cool hardware hack a while back and modded a nintendo joypad to work on an atari joystick and to use on all those atari joystick compatable vintage computers. Nintendo pads are great for atari joystick based games. Also modded it so the 2nd button functions as the up button also. This is great for all those games that use the up direction as jump.

my game consule systems include

PLAYSTATION 2 -with mod chip to play backups
