Hmm, looks like one of the thousands of "clone PCs" to me. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hmmm....he says 1980...PC came out August 1981?
Drives look like 8" (looks like the Tandy 8" in model 12?) and IMS did S100 systems, didn't they?
I would assume it to be a CP/M-style system, especially considering the date..

Well, translations says "80's" but if you do a google on "ims cp/m" you do get lots of relevant hits. So, hard to tell.

And, judging from the "lock down handle length", those sure seem like 5.25" drives to me.

Hmm, if you use the length of the space bar on the keyboard, then they are 8" drives.

The link to the listing, with the 3 pictures, is what set me.
If you look at the 3rd one, and see the keyboard on top of the computer, that pretty much says it all. The drives consume most of the height, and unless that keyboard is about 1/2" high, they must be 8" drives.

Also, they look absolutely identical to the 8" drives used in the model 12.

I'd say so; relative size & proportion, square LED opposite the latch, they sure look like the 8" Tandon TM848s beside me here...

Yeah, I checked the height to width ratio against the 848 slimlines in my Tandy 12 and 16s and that's them.
