IBM Flowchartting Template

IBM was a big proponent of process and structured programming at an early date.

Early in the era of IBM mainframes programmers submitted jobs to be run later with the results of the run returned sometimes hours or days after submission. Because of those delays IBM encouraged their engineers to spend extra time making sure their programs would work when submitted.

One method used was to plan out your program carefully using a flow chart depicting the processing, decision making and so on.

IBM provided flow chart templates to make this process easier.
